Kid's Bathroom Picture Frames (In Progress)
I was randomly making some picture frames using a reinforced splined miter that I learned from Paul Sellers. It took me a while to eventually finish and hang these in the kid's bathroom.

I made a simple live edge table to go behind the couch at my parent's house. I remember lots of card scraping on this one since this particular board had very twisted grain. Some steel table legs completed a simple but rewarding project.
Hand Saw Cabinet (Oct 27, 2017 )
After acquiring enough hand saws, they started to overtake my shop. I desperately needed a place to consolidate them. I made this hanging cabinet to store them and life has been good ever since. The wood was some walnut flooring that I got from a coworker. The construction was complex, but quickly realized. This was the first drawer I ever made, and the first half-blind dovetails that I cut. A really fun, low stress project that built up skill and became a great addition to the shop.

My second staked furniture project started out as a coffee table for the MC Product Managers office at Ponce City Market. It turned out way too nice to take to the office, so I kept it instead.

We wanted a subtle way to decorate some empty walls. I came up with the idea of a long shelf where we could rest picture frames. in order for the frames to stay up I had to devise a little groove where the frames would catch.

My coworker asked me to make him a custom stand for his growing synthesizer collection. It was a fun project to design a case around the electronics. We ended up replacing the two side pieces that came originally with the synth with the side pieces, and the top shelf was to store a complimentary synthesizer that would be used with this one.
